The Diabetic Brain Topic of July's Neuro Night Forum

July’s Neuro Night forum will focus on improving neurological health through education and research and access to care with regard to those who have diabetes.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Improving neurological health through education, research and access to care with regard to those who have diabetes will be the topic of July’s Neuro Night forum, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at The Fountains at Canterbury, 1404 N.W. 122nd St. A light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.

During the event, members of the community will have an opportunity to speak directly with specialists in the topic presented and discover the cutting edge of research and clinical practice in this area. The forum is part of the Neuro Night series sponsored by the Oklahoma Center for Neuroscience, a consortium of neuroscientists from across the state that serves as a research center and information resource at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

The forum will include a panel of three:

Dave Fields, Ph.D., associate professor, Department of Pediatrics, OU Health Sciences Center

Kevin Short, Ph.D., associate professor, Department of Pediatrics, OU Health Sciences Center
