Elon Dancy, associate professor in adult and higher education at the University of Oklahoma Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education, was selected as one of 12 top “under 40” emerging scholars by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine.
According to the magazine, the recipients are “making their mark through teaching, research and service and serve as an inspiration to both students and colleagues.” Dancy is one of two education scholars that made the very competitive list.
“We are so proud of Dr. Dancy and this great honor he has received,” said Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education Dean Gregg Garn. “He has made an incredible impact on his students, and his research has influenced the field.”
Diverse: Issues in Higher Education covers issues facing underrepresented minority professionals in higher education.
