Paying tuition and fees has become easier at The University of Oklahoma.  OU will now offer the opportunity to give an OU student the “Gift of Education”.  The Office of the Bursar has created the OU Gift Card redeemable to pay tuition, fees and other Bursar approved charges. 

Gift cards are available to purchase in denominations of: $25, $40, $50, $100, $250 and $500.  They can be purchased online at ou.edu/content/bursar/ougiftcard/purchase-a-gift-card or in person at the Norman Campus Bursar’s Office at 1000 Asp Avenue, Room 105, Norman, OK 73019.  These cards can then be presented by the purchaser, as a gift to an OU Student.  The OU Gift Card gives family and friends the ability to “gift” money to be used for educational expenses.  Anyone may purchase a card at any time without having to know the current balance of the student’s account. If student charges are paid in full at the time the OU Gift Card is redeemed, funds will be posted and held in the recipient’s Bursar account to pay for “future” charges. 

Only a handful of other institutions offer tuition payment through the purchase of gift certificates.  OU is excited to be a trend setter in assisting students by allowing them to expand their circle of financial support and making it easier for those interested parties to give the “Gift of Education”.
