Student Learning Center

The Student Learning Center, a department of University College (UC), offers free tutoring sessions through UC Action. This nationally, CRLA Certified service offers walk-in, small group appointments, faculty-directed sessions, and uniform exam study nights to help students take action toward their own academic success. See below for details and schedules.

UC Action begins each semester during the 2nd week of classes but is closed for University/Student Holidays and weather closings. Schedules are posted here at the beginning of each semester.

UC Action sessions are held in a variety of spaces across campus, including Wagner Hall (1005 Asp Ave, southeast of the Union), Bizzell Memorial Library (Learning Lab LL1), Cross Learning Center (Cross Center A112), Headington and Dunham Residential Colleges (200/250 W Lindsey), and modern languages at the Language Learning Center (Kaufman Hall 228).

If you choose not to wear a mask, please do not sit in close proximity to those with health concerns. The university encourages masking indoors. The university strongly encourages masking for all individuals in high-density settings, such as classrooms and at special events.
  • Vaccinations: The university strongly encourages the entire OU community to get vaccinated, particularly those residing in congregate housing.
  • Stay Safe: If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or are otherwise feeling unwell, please do not attend in-person tutoring sessions or appointments. To request a virtual option or make a virtual appointment email us at studentlearning@ou.edu.
