You can join hundreds of other University of Oklahoma faculty, staff, and students and change someone’s life today by donating to the United Way of Norman! OU’s annual campaign kicks off on September 11 this year and will continue until December 11 – giving us about three months to make a difference.
Donations to United Way help more than 84,000 people each year, including members of our University family. Families who need help finding food and housing. Children dealing with the aftermath of abuse. People struggling with addiction. People who need our support to get them back on their feet.
The health of our community depends on donations from generous people like you!
Giving changes everything! Help us fight for better education, financial stability, and health for every person in our Norman and OU Community.
Ways You Can Help
- Make your pledge, even $1 makes a difference! Here are three easy ways to give (Payroll deductions are an option):
- Give online!
- Call the United Way office at (405) 329-2025 and make your pledge by phone with the United Way of Norman team.
- Mail in your gift to 570 24th Ave NW, Suite 110, Norman, OK 73069.
- If you have a Staff Meeting coming up in Fall 2024 and would be willing to have a United Way of Norman representative and/or agency member or client briefly stop by (in-person or virtual) to discuss the importance and impact of the campaign, please email Kathy Holder at kholder@unitedway-norman.org.
- We would also love for your department to create a fun way to promote giving. There are many ways that you can do this: Agency Meet & Greet, No Shave November, Bake Sale, Chili Cookoff, Potluck Meal, Auction, Giving Challenge, Casual/Jeans Day, "Throw a pie at...", and more! If your department has an event coming up, please email us so we can promote it!
