Stephnee Hiserodt, ACSW, LCSW

Stephnee completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Zoology and graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma.  She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 1998 and is also credentialed by the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW).  She licensed by the State of Oklahoma as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Stephnee has worked as a counselor in the outpatient and school based settings as well as 19 years working with adolescents with co-occurring disorders at an inpatient facility.  Stephnee has also directed a Truancy Diversion Program for school aged youth and served as a Clinical Director for an inpatient facility for 5 years.  Stephnee served on the board for the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers.

Stephnee views the therapeutic process as a journey and one of collaboration between the client and therapist.  She works to use the person’s strengths and seeks ways to use hope as a catalyst for change.  Stephnee uses solution focused interventions and person centered therapy to join with the person to meet their goals.  Stephnee has training and experience working with trauma, substance use issues, depression and anxiety.  She believes in overall wellness as a path to recovery and works with clients to create a self care lifestyle.
