Layla received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma and has prior experience working in professional development supporting employees looking to improve interpersonal skills, overcome professional challenges, or meet growth goals. Layla received her Master of Education in Professional Counseling at Oklahoma City University and completed her graduate internship at the OU University Counseling Center.
Layla uses a client centered approach, acknowledging that clients are the experts of their own lives and experiences. She gives clients the opportunity to direct counseling sessions in the ways that work best for them, while providing a safe and empathetic space for clients to bring their whole selves into the counseling space.
Layla loves dogs, coffee, and books, and enjoys spending her time traveling or working on creative projects.
