Dr. Brittany Stewart, Ph.D.

Dr. Brittany Stewart received her B.S. and M.S. in psychology and Community Counseling, respectively, from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The University of Kansas. Dr. Stewart has trained and/or worked in multiple settings including inpatient and outpatient community mental health centers, the VA, and in several University Counseling Centers. Dr. Stewart is passionate about working with college students as they navigate transitions to and through college. Her clinical interests include identity development, treatment of mood, anxiety and trauma related conditions, and supporting the mental health needs of first-generation college students. Dr. Stewart strives to create a therapeutic space that is inclusive, warm, supportive, and rooted in cultural humility while encouraging and therapeutically challenging clients to work toward attaining the growth they desire while navigating the multitude of stressors they will encounter during their college experiences.
