Larsen, Emilie

Emilie Larsen, DO, Chief Resident

Medical School:  Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences

Undergrad:  University of Southern California

Family Life:  I love my family! I have 8 brothers and sisters and they are some of my best friends. My husband, Adam, and I met and married while both enduring the rigors of medical school. To add to our already crazy life, we are expecting our first baby in October 2018!

Hobbies:  I enjoy cooking, hiking, camping, traveling, gardening, board games, reading, and playing the piano.

Professional Interests:  Diabetes education and prevention.

Reasons for choosing this program:  I quickly fell in love with OU Pediatrics and Tulsa during a one-month sub-internship as a medical student. Although far from my family, I felt at home with the residents and was excited about the program’s commitment to the community. Not only is there a sense of family and belonging at OU, but I also felt confident that this program would help my own family thrive.
