This training session is designed to introduce university community members to the Spectrum of Resolution Options Model that was introduced to the higher education community through the Reframing Campus Conflict Publication (Schrage and Giacomini, 2020). Participants will receive an introduction to the Spectrum of Resolution Options model and each of its components and identify how the model fits within the University of Oklahoma’s Student Rights, and Responsibilities Code.
Duration: 30 minutes

This training session will on focus on providing guidance on the art of facilitating difficult conversation. Participants will receive an overview of the various forms of Conflict, discuss the three conversations within a Difficult Conversation, and identify ways to utilize the spectrum of resolutions model to navigate difficult conversations.

This training session will focus on the various styles of responding to conflict. Participants will learn about the three different conflict styles, understand their personal conflict style, and identify the conflict styles of others.

This can be a mandatory or voluntary training providing hazing education and prevention information to student groups. Participants will examine hazing laws and code, risks and costs associated with hazing, the OU Stop Hazing initiative, and hazing reporting tools.
Duration: 1 – 1.5 hours
