Jerusalem, Israel – September 9th: A suicide bomber killed six people and injured around 40 outside a West Jerusalem cafe Tuesday night after a suicide bomber killed seven at a bus stop near an army base near Tel Aviv only hours beforehand. Hamas’ military wing has claimed responsibility for both attacks. The bombings came less than a day after Israeli troops killed Hamas military leader Ahmed Bader in Hebron in the West Bank. Bader is the suspected mastermind behind the August 19 suicide bombing in a bus in Jerusalem which killed 21 people. Ahmed Qorei, the designated Palestinian Authority prime minister after the resignation of Abbas, condemned the attacks, saying they are not helpful.
