The Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA) significantly enhances transparency and accountability regarding hazing incidents on college campuses receiving federal funding. This legislation mandates two distinct public reports, ensuring comprehensive disclosure of hazing-related information.
The SCHA also requires the publication of a new, dedicated Campus Hazing Transparency Report (CHTR). This report provides detailed, incident-specific information regarding hazing violations where a recognized/registered student organization (RSO) has been found responsible. The CHTR includes:
The first CHTR will be published by December 23, 2025, covering incidents from July 1, 2025, onward. The CHTR is published only when a finding of a hazing violation has occurred involving a student organization (twice annually when applicable) and will be published below to ensure ongoing transparency and accountability.

| General Description of Hazing Incident | Multiple hazing activities occurred over the course of the Fall 2025 semester. Pledge assignments were given early in the new member process requiring new members to do various tasks. Examples included: Weather Report Pledge, DJ Pledge, Door Dash, etc. Phikeia (new member educators) picked pledge assignments from a list used year-to-year as a tradition within the organization. New members were expected to complete scavenger hunts where they incorporated various tasks, taking pictures as proof of completion, and required travel to the Oklahoma State University, Phi Delta Theta chapter. New members were also expected to carry pledge packs that consisted of cigarettes, 6mg Zyn nicotine pouches, condoms, deck of cards, ping pong balls, dice, blue journal, blue pens, and 3 matches. During new member meetings, new members were expected to complete physical exercises as punishment for not meeting desired expectations within the organization. “Hell Night” was conducted on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, where new members were randomly called to the chapter facility, lined up, blindfolded, and expected to march to the chapter room. Over the course of 2 hours that night, new members were expected to do physical exercises, dance, rap, and complete quizzes. After this, new members were expected to do a “trust fall” into the arms of their “big” [brother] in the organization. The Big Brother reveal and celebration continued into the night, incorporating alcohol consumption for those under the legal drinking age. One individual had alcohol taped to their hands, overindulged at the encouragement of others, and ended up hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning. New members were also verbally degraded by actives, expected to complete “Huff Hours”, which were required times to exercise at the Sarkeys Fitness Center on-campus, and made to do a fantasy football draft activity where active members analyzed physical ability. Two (2) reports were submitted to the University of Oklahoma concerning hazing in this organization. |

| Date of Hazing Incident | Fall 2025 Semester |
| General Description of Hazing Incident | Multiple hazing activities occurred over the course of the Fall 2025 semester. New members engaged in drinking games, including a “Case Race” with active members prior to a registered social event and alcohol was easily accessible for those under the legal drinking at events hosted by the chapter. New members were expected to be at the chapter facility when not in class. They were also expected to complete acts of servitude for active members including cleaning members’ houses, doing laundry, providing rides, and getting food for them through their student meal plans and other means (sometimes not being reimbursed). Interviews of active members were expected from new members through fulfillment of a task and/or errand. There was an expectation that new members do various exercises in the basement and basketball court of the chapter facility, with some new members occasionally being blindfolded. The physical activities were referred to as “line-ups” and sometimes included consumption of food items. Consumption of raw onions by new members was confirmed as an example. As a punishment for not getting enough interviews with active members completed or not spending enough time at the chapter facility, new members were broken off into small groups of 5-10 new members where they were hazed by a previous “pledge master” at his off-campus residence. While there, new members were required to complete various exercises and consume a drink that was made by the former pledge master. This activity resulted in a new member having an allergic reaction to an ingredient and needing to be hospitalized. A total of four (4) reports were submitted to the University of Oklahoma concerning hazing in this organization. |

In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, our institution annually publishes an Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFR) by October 1st. Beginning with the October 1, 2026 report, the ASFR will include specific, aggregated data on hazing incidents. This data will encompass incidents reported to Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) or local police agencies that occurred within the institution's Clery geography. This inclusion provides a standardized and publicly accessible overview of hazing trends, contributing to informed decision-making for prospective students and their families.
