OU Reserve is the online space reservation tool for all registered student organizations and OU departments to use when booking space on campus.

OU Reserve Form Descriptions

This section briefly explains each of the reservation request forms found on OU Reserve. Use this information to select the appropriate form for your request.

Use the Create a Reservation menu to book your desired space. Below are brief descriptions of each reservation template. Click on the individual links below for full reservation template information.

Below are the minimum booking times for the reservation templates. Requests must be made before the time shown below to reserve your space.

A general request form to find space on campus for the current semester. This form will not allow you to add catering and resources specific to buildings due to the general nature of the form.

To unlock more features (resources, catering, etc.) during your reservation request, use the appropriate specific templates below.

 

Use for RSOs and university department events (single or repeating) in Centrally Controlled Classrooms.

  • Non-academic classroom use is available on a semester-by-semester basis.
  • Reservation times will not be allowed during the first two weeks of the semester to accommodate necessary academic class adjustments.
  • Classroom space may be reserved between the hours of 7 AM – 11 PM depending on availability.
  • Due to the priority of academic use, Campus Scheduling reserves the right to move any group to another space; however, every effort will be made to provide comparable space and services.

Used to request an Outdoor Space on campus, including Semi-Permanent Tents.

  • Must be completed 3 working days prior to your event.
Use for all student organization weekly meetings or study at any of the Activity Centers (HTCC, JTMC, OMU) or in Central Classroom spaces.
  • Can be made up to 30 days in advance.
  • These recurring activities are limited to a maximum of 4 consecutive hours.

Used to request promotional tabling space on campus either at the Union or on the South Oval.

Group Specific Templates

Some departments and groups may have access to other spaces on campus. These reservation templates are described below.

Below are the minimum booking times for the reservation templates. Requests must be made before the time shown below to reserve your space.

Use for RSOs and university department events at the Thurman J. White Forum center.

  • Most groups may reserve space on a semesterly basis. 

Use for FCS groups to reserve shared FCS spaces.

Use for RSOs and university department events in the studios of the Sarkeys Fitness Center.
  • Groups may reserve space 15 days out from the current date.
Use for RSOs and university department events in Housing & Residence Life spaces.
 
  • Groups may reserve space on a semesterly basis. Space reservations will be allowed for the respective semester on the first day of classes.
Use for RSOs and university department events at the Henderson-Tolson Cultural Center.
 
  • Most groups may reserve space on a semesterly basis. Space reservations will be allowed for the respective semester on the Saturday after the first week of classes have completed.

*Groups with early access to the space will have a similar form under the 'Henderson-Tolson Cultural Center' menu and should use that when making their requests.

Use for RSOs and university department events at the Jim Thorpe Multicultural Center.

  • Most groups may reserve space on a semesterly basis. Space reservations will be allowed for the respective semester on the Saturday after the first week of classes have completed.

*Groups with early access to the space will have a similar form under the 'Jim Thorpe Multicultural Center' menu and should use that when making their requests.

Use for all groups to reserve event space in the Oklahoma Memorial Union (including the Conoco Student Leadership Wing).

  • Spring & Summer Event Space reservations can be made starting the first Tuesday in November at 10 AM.
  • Fall Event Space reservations can be made starting the first Tuesday in April at 10 AM.

Use to request the outdoor banner locations at the Oklahoma Memorial Union.
