Officially decided on Professional Writing Student Association, PWSA with a Professional Writing Alumni Association, PWAA for alumni.
Officers by election held December of 2006: Will Prescott and Elizabeth Childers as Co-Presidents, Isaac Ardoin as Treasurer. (Voter turnout was 91% of PW Majors.)
Appointed officers: Amanda Theaker as Vice President, Jocelyn Pedersen as Secretary. Thanks so much for volunteering, guys!
Discussed possibility of dues. Decided dues should not be requested unless specific intent can be demonstrated and a majority vote is passed.
Voted to accept PWSA Constitution as written. (A Word document of the Constitution may be requested via e-mail.)
Formed seven committees, as they now appear under "officers & committees."
