Spend three weeks in Arezzo, Italy. An ancient yet vibrant town nestled in the hills of Tuscany, Arezzo offers easy access to cultural and economic centers such as Florence, Rome, and Siena. These bustling cities are close enough to visit in a day yet far enough away to preserve Arezzo's Tuscan ambiance. Arezzo and the surrounding area is the birthplace of renowned artists, poets and musicians such as Michelangelo, Petrarch, and Guido Monaco. Fans of the Academy Award winning film Life is Beautiful might recognize Arezzo's many medieval tower homes and Renaissance churches. The modern region of Arezzo is home to 36,000 companies (1 company for every 10 inhabitants), an entrepreneurial rate that is among the highest in Italy.
Students enrolled in this Arezzo program can earn up to six credit hours. In addition, students will visit Italian companies, and see impressive examples of Italian art and culture through visits to cities such as Rome and Florence.

Spend a month during summer in Alcalà de Henares and experience the beauty and culture of this historic college town just a 30 minute drive from Madrid. Transportation is readily available to allow students access to everything Madrid has to offer including concert halls, museums, shopping, and restaurants. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1998, the town has impacted humanity in an intellectual, artistic and political way especially through the historic University of Alcalà de Henares. Founded in 1499, the university gained a reputation for its academic excellence in the centuries to come. Today, the university is located in downtown Alcalà with separate campuses in Alcalà and Guadalajara, with an enrollment of 20,000 students.
Students from Price College will be on campus at our partner university, Instituto Franklin de la University of Alcalà, with other Spanish and international students. All classes are taught in English by Price College faculty, with the additional participation of professors from Instituto Franklin. Students will live in the resident halls at Instituto Franklin and/or with carefully selected host families. Lectures complement other program activities that include business tours, trips to other cities and areas of Spain, visits to museums, and an introduction to Spanish culture and cuisine.

Spend two weeks in England! This program provides students the opportunity to visit London and Liverpool. London, considered one of the oldest cities with history dating back to the Roman times, is known for its Houses of Parliament and its picturesque sites of Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower Bridge. Due to its reputation of being a global city for its arts, entertainment, commerce and finance, and much more, London offers a diverse cultural experience for students. Liverpool, a historic port city and metropolitan borough, has the second highest number of art galleries, national museums, and parks in the UK. In 2008, this city won the honor of being named the European Capital of Culture. Liverpool is also the birthplace of the Beatles, one of the most notable and influential contributors to the music scene.
Students will learn how sports business organizations and professionals operate differently (structure, financing, marketing, etc.) in different cultures, through the business of soccer. This experience will be complemented by lectures from faculty and soccer business professionals, site visits, case studies, and cultural activities.

Spend a month this summer in Clermont-Ferrand, France! Known for being one of the oldest cities in central France, Clermont-Ferrand is the capital of the Auvergne region and is Norman’s sister city. This vibrant city was originally two towns, Clairmont and Montferrand, which were later joined by Louis XIII. It is listed as a Tectonic hotspot on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list, as it is surrounded by the Chaîne des Puys, a chain of volcanoes. Located 4 hours from Paris, Clermont-Ferrand is host to the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Although second to the Cannes festival, it is the world’s first and leading festival for short films. Michelin’s headquarters are also based here.
Students from Price College will be on the University of Clermont Auvergne campus in Clermont-Ferrand with other French and international students. All classes are taught in English by Price College faculty, with the additional participation of professors from University Clermont Auvergne. Lectures complement other program activities that include business tours, trips to other cities and areas of France (such as Paris, Lyon, Avignon), visits to museums, and an introduction to French culture and cuisine. Students will be housed in furnished apartments located near campus.

Embark on a remarkable four-week journey to Ibaraki City, nestled in the heart of Osaka Prefecture! Ibaraki City offers the perfect combination of tranquility and accessibility, allowing students to experience Japan’s vibrant culture while being conveniently located between two of its most iconic cities—Osaka and Kyoto. Just a short 15-20 minute train ride from Ibaraki is Osaka, the bustling capital of the prefecture. Known for its dynamic energy and renowned cuisine, Osaka provides an immersive experience of modern Japanese life. Whether exploring historic landmarks like Osaka Castle or indulging in local delicacies such as okonomiyaki (savory pancakes), students will find endless opportunities to engage with the city's dynamic culture.
Equally appealing, Ibaraki City is just 30 minutes by train from Kyoto, Japan’s historical jewel. Famous for its stunning temples, peaceful shrines, and traditional tea houses, Kyoto offers students a unique glimpse into the country's timeless traditions. Students will experience a truly diverse and enriching cultural adventure.
Throughout the program, students will study at Ritsumeikan University’s Osaka-Ibaraki campus, where all courses are taught in English by Price College faculty. OU students will interact with Ritsumeikan University students, allowing for meaningful cross-cultural collaboration. This program offers a blend of business site visits, where students will gain practical insights to real-world Japanese business practices and enriching cultural activities. This includes visits to temples and shrines, participation in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, and a day excursion to Kyoto. The program will end with an exciting final stop in Tokyo, Japan's bustling capital.

San José, the capital of Costa Rica, is located in the country’s beautiful central mountain valley. Costa Rica is known for its political and economic stability in Central America. The country’s natural attractions draw tourists from all over the world. A center of international banking and trade, Panama City, is one of the most cosmopolitan capitals in Central America. Located in the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal, Panama City’s rich history can be seen through its many architectural styles, from Spanish colonial buildings, to French and Antillean townhouses, and modern high-rise buildings. The Price College of Business students will have the opportunity, in addition to their class work, to engage in ecotourism, to explore the Rainforest, to visit a coffee and pineapple plantation, experience the operations of the Panama Canal, and learn more about these incredible countries.

OU’s International Study Centers, OU in Arezzo (OUA) and OU in Puebla (OUP) offers students the opportunity to travel abroad with other OU students while enrolling in courses taught by OU faculty. In addition, OU has partnerships with exchange and affiliate providers that takes students across the globe.
