HEALTH CARE AND THE AMERICAN WORKFORCE DILEMMA PANEL DISCUSSION

NORMAN - A panel discussion to discuss the business and practice implications of today's health care environment is set for Thursday, Mar. 25, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Mary Eddy and Fred Jones Auditorium at Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, 555 Elm Ave. The session is sponsored by the Price College of Business.  

Four industry experts and employers who oversee large benefit programs will speak on topics that pertain to the present health care conversation and how it affects business, health care provision and consumers. These panelists include Craig Jones, FACHE, president of the Oklahoma Hospital Association; Bert Marshall, president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma; Mary Anne McCaffree, professor of pediatrics at the OU College of Medicine; and Stephen Merrill, vice president of human resources at OGE Energy Corp. The moderator for the discussion will be Marianne Fazen, executive director of the Southwest Benefits Association.

The panel discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a reception in the Sandy Bell Gallery at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. Seating is limited.
