PANEL DISCUSSION ON "ALTERNATIVE ENERGY – A FAD OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY?”

NORMAN – A free, public panel discussion on the business of alternative energy is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24,  in 150 Adams Hall, 307 West Brooks. The session is sponsored by the Price College Business Energy Solutions Center and the Division of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business.

Three industry experts will share their viewpoints on the future of alternative energy business along with discussing various business issues and opportunities with wind and solar power. Panelists are Ron Bolen, managing director for HFBE Investment Banking; Paul Dickerson, partner with Haynes and Boone; and Michael Skelly, founder of Clean Line Energy Partners. The moderator for the discussion will be Mark Sharfman, director of the Division of Management and Entrepreneurship and professor of strategic management at Price College.

The panel discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a reception in Price Hall’s Clary Lounge, adjacent to Adams Hall. Seating is limited.
