James Dryden
Senior Development Project Manager, EDP Renewables North America
James Dryden holds a B.S. in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma with minors in business, hydrology and geography. Dryden also holds an M.S. from Oklahoma State University with research focused on climate change impacts on wind energy output. He has been working in the renewable energy industry for over 12 years, specifically focusing on the technical aspects of the development and operation of renewable energy assets. Dryden has been either directly or indirectly involved in over 3 GWs of wind and solar energy development through financial close across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Australia and parts of Europe.
He currently works remotely from his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for EDP Renewables North America, where his focus is on initiating and developing new utility-scale wind, solar and battery energy storage projects.
Dryden is married with three children ages 5 months, 2 years and 9 years; it’s safe to say he stays busy! He enjoys running and strength training in his “free” time. He is a very serious Sooner Football fan – BOOMER!
