While COVID-19 precipitated a global technological transition and changed how we work and shop, we are at the forefront of a new era of technological and social change.
The fourth industrial revolution – marked by an explosion of digital data from ubiquitous, connected smart devices, coupled with breakthroughs in AI, robotics, and machine-to-machine communication – is transforming manufacturing and service sectors and altering consumer behavior. Advances in virtual and augmented reality will change how we work, play, and live.
The social context of business is also changing. Organizational stakeholders are increasingly calling into question the fundamental purpose of organizations and challenging social cohesion.
These technological and social changes will transform the nature of jobs, how and where people perform them, how people collaborate, and the social fabric of organizations.
This new era of business will require new breeds of highly skilled business professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs who see and use business as a force for good in the world.
Since our founding in 1929, Price College has expanded and refined its ability to meet the growing need for skilled business professionals and leaders. Although what and how we teach has evolved, Price College’s mission has remained steadfast: to ensure the enduring global competitiveness of Oklahoma and the nation.
We now have the opportunity and the obligation to transform business education to prepare all qualified and motivated students, regardless of background or finances, to be the type of future-ready leaders and professionals our state and nation need.
With your investment, we can make this vision a reality.
