Tom Hooper joins Price College after a 25-year career in energy, where his operational and management roles included engineering, business development, financial modeling and business management. Hooper spent most of his career at independent oil and gas operators Anadarko Petroleum and Devon Energy in locations from Algeria to Alaska, and recently served as founding CEO of an E&P startup focused on the Anadarko Basin. Tom’s professional affiliations include active membership and former section chairman in the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where his publications include application of stochastic financial modeling and real options techniques to capital budgeting decisions. Hooper earned his B.S. in petroleum engineering and his M.B.A. with a focus in energy risk, both from the University of Oklahoma.
