Abehitha Fernando is a second-year Ph.D. student in Finance at the University of Oklahoma. She graduated with First-Class Honours from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), Sri Lanka, earning three gold medals for her B.Sc. in Finance (Special) degree in 2017. Since then, she has been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Finance at USJ. Abehitha completed her M.Sc. in Management at USJ in 2023 with a Merit Pass. She is also a CIMA passed finalist and has completed CFA Level I.
