Lucas's research focuses on the decision-making processes of accounting professionals and individual taxpayers, with a focus on how emerging technologies and related legislative changes influence judgments and decisions. He received his MS-Professional Accounting (Tax) and his BBA-Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at the Price College of Business, he worked as a senior accountant in KPMG’s tax practice where he performed tax compliance and consulting services for clients across multiple industries. He has also worked as an accounting lecturer for the University of Wisconsin System.
Lucas is an Accounting Doctoral Scholar and a licensed CPA in the state of Wisconsin.
