Hannah Bermudez received their BA of Business Administration, majoring in accounting, at the University of Oklahoma in 2023. They are on track to receive their MAcc in 2024 while concurrently participating in the Ph.D. program at OU. Rather than transitioning out of academia after finishing their Master's, Bermudez has chosen to pursue advanced research and academic opportunities in the field of accounting. Their research interests include the implications of technology and analytics as it relates to audit and assurance, and how social identities affect auditor perceptions. In their free time, they enjoy reading science-fiction novels and watching movies.
