About Jones

As Price College’s director of Access and Opportunity, Jones collaborates with students, staff, faculty, alums, and corporate partners to help create a more welcoming environment for every member of the college. He serves as the college’s designated liaison with OU’s office of Access and Opportunity

Before joining Price, Jones served as the director of institutional diversity at Oklahoma Christian University. His responsibilities included managing minority retention, creating diversity programming, conducting cultural sensitivity training, and reviewing and implementing policies. Through his efforts, the university opened the doors to its first Center for Diversity on campus and achieved the highest retention rates among minority students in its history.

A current board member of the OKC Black Chamber of Commerce, Jones also served on the Advisory Council for the EMBARK Leadership Curriculum and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He earned an MBA with a focus on organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in history, both from Oklahoma Christian University. A native of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Jones is married with three daughters.
