During 25 years at OU, Professor Emery served as Oklahoma Banker's Chair in Finance, Director of the Finance Division, Founding Director of the Center for Financial Studies, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs and Senior Associate Dean. His research is published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Business and Journal of Operations Management. He was a Fulbright Fellow and his electric power risk management research was sponsored by the National Science Foundation. He was among the 50 most influential people in credit in a Credit Today survey.
