Blake Cantrell is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and a commercial transactions attorney with over a decade of experience in entrepreneurship and corporate law matters. Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma, Cantrell has spent the majority of his career as a serial entrepreneur and start-up business owner in a variety of industries and sectors. Notably, Cantrell bootstrapped and rapidly scaled his first venture – a food delivery company based in Norman, OK – to the point that it was ultimately acquired by  GrubHub, Inc. Later, he served as General Counsel and Chief Executive Officer of a multi-unit retail chain based in OKC, overseeing the expansion of the business to 6 locations across Oklahoma and directing a staff of 70+ employees. Additionally, Cantrell has maintained an active law practice over the course of his entrepreneurial career, with a focus on corporate matters, complex business transactions, and regulatory compliance.
