Asif earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. Before joining the Price College of Business as a faculty member, he taught at Southern Methodist University and California State University, San Bernardino. He also previously worked as an equity analyst. His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, and sovereign wealth funds.
