Internships & Co-Op Opportunities
Student internships are encouraged and regularly available as paid part-time or short-term full-time positions. These internships often give students the opportunity to receive college credit and to learn more about career options within the profession.
Most internships are advertised through the Handshake platform managed the Career Center. To qualify for three hours of credit as an upper-division business elective, an internship must generally be for at least 320 contact hours. To receive credit, students must receive prior approval and enroll in BAD 3700 before the internship commences. Note that both Internships and Co-Ops can be taken for 1–3 credit hours, with the main distinction that the Co-Op offers full-time student status.
For questions regarding the enrollment process contact Jan Nelson.
