March 1 is OUPI’s early action admission deadline. While prospective students are encouraged to submit their application to OUPI by March 1, early action admission is non-binding, meaning that if you’re admitted, you’re not obligated to attend. However, we want to see your application, so explore these five reasons why we hope you’ll apply early!
By applying early you can start to explore the various resources available to you as an OUPI student, such as support services, clubs, and organizations, which can help you succeed while furthering your academic career.
Knowing your admission status early can reduce stress and anxiety associated with waiting for a decision, giving you more time to focus on other aspects of your busy year.
Applying early will help you to start building relationships with professors. As an admitted OUPI student, you can begin to form connections with faculty and get a head start on forming academic relationships for your future.
Early admission will provide you opportunities to engage with the OUPI campus even before classes begin. This includes getting to know OU-Tulsa's student organizations, social events, and campus activities where you can start to feel part of the OUPI Family.
We understand attending college is a big investment, so we want to make sure you have a financial plan, as well as help and support along the way. An OU MoneyCoach will help you build lifelong money management skills and navigate the process of paying for college.
