The OU Economic Development Institute (EDI) provides in-person learning options at many stages of your economic development career. This is the core economic development certification program we’ve offered since 1962, which more than 6,000 professionals have completed.
OU EDI offers the only in-person course options that also qualify one for the IEDC’s CEcD (Certified Economic Developer) exam. As we have since 1962, we place a huge emphasis on making sure course content is relevant, includes best practices, and connects to the CEcD exam. That said, we also intentionally build networking and mentoring into our in-person events.
