"I am a young mom of two little girls. My mom passed away when I was 18 years old. OU Online has allowed me to be a mom and a wife and still reach for my dreams. It allowed me to show my girls that anything is possible and to never give up."
- Astanzia Rolin, Master of Social Work, 2024
Although you aren’t physically on campus, your time at OU can be enriched by extending your experiences beyond the classroom. Connect with other OU Online students who have similar interests, find support, and build lifelong friendships during your academic journey by joining one of our online student communities. Currently, OU Online offers nine such communities. While these communities are comprised of people who share a common identity, interest, and/or purpose, anyone can join for the purpose of learning and engaging.
