Our 36-hour online MBA program is modular, with each semester divided into two eight-week sections. Our flexible program allows you to take a course load that fits your life, so you can complete the program in as little as two years or take as long as five years.
You’ll learn from the same top-tier faculty who teach our full-time MBA courses, only in an online format delivered synchronously during the evenings. Most online MBA students take two classes a week and graduate in two years.
Core courses cover fundamental business knowledge and essential managerial competencies, making up 24 credit hours. Twelve hours of electives round out the cohort-based experience. Electives are offered in several areas.

Getting Started Today
The online MBA program is for those looking for maximum flexibility to complete their degree.
To apply to the online Master of Business Administration program, you must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent). Students should have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in undergraduate studies.
To apply, students must:
- Complete the online application at https://gograd.ou.edu/apply/
- Submit a current resume
- Provide official college transcripts from all institutions
- Submit a personal statement
- International students must demonstrate English proficiency
Applicants may be required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), depending on their work experience and prior education. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed individually.

Graduate tuition waivers cannot be applied to OU Online programs. OU Online programs qualify for the OU Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver & Fee Exemption, and we encourage you to check your eligibility.

Tuition and fees for the program are $35,460 ($985 per credit hour). Books and additional materials are not included.
Once accepted into the program, students must submit a $350 nonrefundable deposit within two weeks. Deposits are applied toward tuition expenses and secure a student’s place in the upcoming class. There is no application fee for this degree.
