Paul joined the Oklahoma Geological Survey as a Geophysicist in 2019. His research is geared toward improving the quality of earthquake catalogs by advancing earthquake detection and location tools to better characterize seismicity. He also studies the relationship between subsurface geological and geophysical properties of induced seismicity environments and seismicity. He has studied induced seismicity in central Arkansas and north Texas. Paul received his MSc. and Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Memphis. Besides research, Paul enjoys field work which gives him the opportunity to tour remote places where he wouldn’t have thought of visiting before.
