Taste of Soul is a culinary celebration of African/African American diversity on campus offering a culinary selection of foods that are peculiar to the African/African American culture. Attendees can select from a variety of beverages, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts to experience the many wonderful flavors that we enjoy. The Taste of Soul is meant to honor the cultural diversity that exists within our communities and highlight the communal aspect of Soul Food. Food will be a $5 donation/or three canned food items.

OU Black Royalty Pageant

The OU Black Royalty Pageant, formerly known as Mr. & Miss Black OU, is an annual scholarship pageant organized and sponsored by the Black Student Association and African American Programs & Services. The pageant takes place annually during Black History Month and contestants compete in several on-stage categories and an interview with judges prior to the event. Crowned royalty serve the community for a full academic year. The pageant showcases contestants' passions for scholarship, service, and cultural awareness.
