Important Student Information
Please read carefully the important information below about questions you might have regarding:
Enrollment
- Students can enroll in a Winter course through the 3rd day of class, but are encouraged to enroll and participate from the first day.
- Double-Check all online transactions. It takes only a couple of minutes to log out and back in to make sure your enrollment or drop went through successfully.
- Please contact the Office of the Registrar at (405) 325-3527 or enroll@ou.edu if you have questions or problems concerning enrollment or cancellation.
Taking a Winter Session Course
You must be admitted to the University and be eligible to enroll in order to register. To apply for admission please visit, admissions.ou.edu.
It is the responsibility of the student to check with his or her adviser to determine if a course is applicable to their degree program.
- Enroll online: One.ou.edu
on your specified day (by classification). If you have any registration stops, they must be cleared prior to your enrollment.
- Drop a Course: Students can drop their course online through the 3rd day of Winter Session; students should contact the Office of the Registrar in Buchanan Hall (325-3527) or enroll@ou.edu to drop a Winter course.
- Attempting to drop a course: if the drop box is NOT available then the deadline to drop your class with a refund has passed. You must contact the Office of the Registrar to drop your course.
Dropping a Winter Course
Withdraw before classes begin:
- Full refund of tuition and fees
- No grade
Withdraw on 1st - 3rd day of Winter class
- Full refund of tuition and fees
- No grade of W assigned
Automatic Grade of W assigned when dropping a class: 4th day through the 3rd Friday, students will need to contact Enrollment Services.
