The University of Oklahoma School of Aviation Studies recently announced a partnership with Southwest Airlines that will help OU pilots toward a career with one of the nation’s largest domestic airlines. OU will be part of the newly launched Southwest Airlines Destination 225° program, which offers a university pathway to increased opportunities for OU aviation students. Paul Moore has been the Artist in Residence at the University of Oklahoma for over 20 years. Moore’s work is largely influenced by Native American and Western art. His most recent awards came at the 2019 Prix de West, an invitational art exhibition and sale held by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Megan Gold, a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma, has been crowned Miss Tulsa 2020. The sophomore is working toward a bachelor of science degree in atmospheric science-broadcast meteorology.
