Licensed physical therapists provide evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions, orthopedics, post-surgical therapy and work-related injuries. OUHS requires a physician's referral for treatment. Charges will vary depending on the services provided. Questions regarding charges can be directed to patient services.
Patients are seen by scheduled appointment. Patients are usually seen 1-3 times per week depending on the type and severity of the injury. Duration of treatment also varies and is determined on an individual basis. The initial evaluation and treatment will last approximately 1 hour. Treatment sessions thereafter can vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the type of injury.
