Gibbs College of Architecture congratulates Sunny Andrews (B.Arch. '05) on her promotion to Principal at Miles Architecture, an award-winning Oklahoma City design firm. Sunny also holds a Master of Business Administration from the OU Price College of Business, bringing both design leadership and strategic business expertise to her work.
With more than 20 years of experience, Sunny specializes in healthcare environments that respond to clinical demands and community needs. Her approach reflects a deep understanding of healthcare delivery, and her leadership shows in the successful execution of complex projects where design excellence, scheduling, risk management, and fiscal responsibility all must align.
Recent notable projects include the Chickasaw Nation Pediatric Clinic, the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Perkins Family Clinic & Childcare Facility, and the OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center of Tulsa.
In her new role, Sunny will lead the firm's Healthcare group, supporting the delivery of high-performing, mission-driven healthcare facilities that serve patients and communities.
During the Spring 2026 semester, students in Interior Design Studio IV and Graduate Studio IV gained hands-on experience in educational facility design through a semester-long partnership with MA+ Architecture.
The Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture congratulates Dr. Tammy McCuen, Robert E. Busch Professor of Construction Science, on beginning her term as president of the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC), an international organization dedicated to advancing construction education through teaching, research and service.
Following years of contributions to the College’s research and strategic initiatives, Gibbs College shares that Associate Dean for Research and External Engagement Angela M. Person, PhD, will step down from her position at Gibbs College as she moves to Tucson with her family, effective June 30, 2026.
