The Division of Architecture will be hosting a series of Internship Workshops over Zoom throughout the fall semester! The workshops will prepare students for the Architectural Experience Program (AXP), which includes internships and a co-op program. Work experience through AXP is required for students to become licensed architects.
The workshops are especially recommended for students currently in Design VII who will be participating in required internships next semester. They will also be helpful for those who have completed internships and are looking to bolster their career options following graduation.
There will be a series of four workshops. The first one is this Thursday, September 23rd from 1:00-2:00pm. It is a program overview, which will include the time requirements, how to prepare for an internship, how to find an internship, and more! On Thursday October 28th from 3:00-4:00pm, there will a resume workshop. Thursday November 18th from 3:00-4:30pm, alumni and local practitioners will review participating students portfolios and offer feedback. Finally, on Tuesday November 30th from 3:00-4:00pm, students will be able to learn all about the details of AXP.
During the Spring 2026 semester, students in Interior Design Studio IV and Graduate Studio IV gained hands-on experience in educational facility design through a semester-long partnership with MA+ Architecture.
