The Carceral Studies Consortium is pleased to announce recipients of its inaugural micro-grants. Congratulations to the following project leads:

  • Access to Gardening for the Women of the Mabel Bassett Correctional Center (Project Leads: Bailey Hoffner and Sharee Asberry)  
  • Against Carceral Feminism (Project Leads: Aurelius Francisco and Erin Simpson) 
  • Environmental Justice & Incarceration (Project Leads: Olivia Robson, Emma Colven, and Anthony Levenda) 
  • Poetic Justice Distance Learning (Project Leads: Ellen Stackable and Nancy LaGreca) 
  • Writers Guild: Giant Steps (Project Leads: Catherine Mintler, Nick LoLordo and Timothy Bradford)

Gibbs College of Architecture Students Participate in Immersive Studio at Taliesin West

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
