Students from the Urban Design Studio teamed up with the Tulsa Young Professionals and the Tulsa Planning Office to facilitate a design workshop on July 23rd for high-school students participating in the Junior Real Estate Ambassadors Institute.

Small groups of students created and presented schemes for the removal of Interstate 244 in Downtown Tulsa. The students learned about the development history of the historic Greenwood District, made future town plans, and designed street sections for the district. They received feedback from community members and real estate professionals.

All the teams received scholarships to support future studies.
