Faculty, Alumnus Present Storm Water Infrastructure Research

Landscape Architecture professor Tom Woodfin, alumnus Rachel Ware, and Director of the Oklahoma Water Survey Jason Vogel recently presented “North of the Red River: GSI in Oklahoma” at the Texas American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Conference.

These professionals shared their teaching, research, and advocacy efforts for green stormwater infrastructure in Oklahoma and provided their understanding of the political context, the environmental realities, and the challenges that confront planning, landscape and engineering professionals who seek to bring best practices to clients in a state where accepted practices from elsewhere are not the norm.
