Eric Sabin, a Master of Landscape Architecture graduate of 2018, has quickly found his place in the profession. Upon graduation, he began working at In-Site Design Group in American Fork, Utah, where he works on a variety of projects that allow him to utilize many of the skills learned while attending the University of Oklahoma.

Though Sabin and In-Site are based in Utah, the projects they have worked on this past year are widespread, ranging from Louisiana to Montana, and even internationally in Italy.

On a more local level, Sabin’s familiarity with the Oklahoma City area has led to his participation in a project near the city: the landscape design for the recently remodeled Oklahoma City Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The project, located in Yukon, Oklahoma, started before Sabin joined the firm. However, Sabin notes that the project manager appreciated his “knowledge of the native landscape” and brought him on to the team. Sabin worked directly with the project manager to create the final designs, which have since been implemented.
