Interior Design Student Wins OU’s Boundless Design #CreateChallenge

Ryan Bermudez, CoA Interior Design senior, recently won the OU Boundless Design #CreateChallenge with his submission titled “Daedalus.” The competition theme was “Creatures,” and submissions were created using Google Tilt Brush, a Virtual Reality (VR) application that allows you to paint using both traditional paint simulations and special effects in litless 3d space and the HTC Vive VR system. Open to members of the OU community and public, the competition was sponsored by the OU Innovation Hub, OU Libraries and HTC Vive.

Gibbs College of Architecture Students Participate in Immersive Studio at Taliesin West

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
