Rome

Each year, Architecture and Interior Design students nearing graduation spend a semester in Rome, where they study the city’s rich layers of art, architecture, and urban form. From Bernini’s baroque masterpieces to contemporary works by Zaha Hadid and Renzo Piano, students engage with design history through studio coursework and site visits. They also participate in service learning projects, such as volunteering with Syrian refugees or documenting historic artifacts for the Capitoline Museum, gaining insight into design’s cultural and civic impact.
