Design + Build

American School Design-Build

Hands-on Learning. Real-world Impact.

American School Design-Build is a hands-on program within the University of Oklahoma’s Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture that blends design, project management, fabrication, and construction into immersive, real-world learning experiences. Rooted in the spirit of the American School movement, the program empowers students to take projects from concept to completion, fostering creativity, technical skill, and collaboration while engaging with communities through meaningful work.
