Marvin Laws is a seasoned attorney with more than 18 years of experience in construction litigation, bond and lien claims, and dispute resolution. He began his legal career at Hayes Magrini & Gatewood in Oklahoma City, where he has guided clients through every phase of the construction process, from bidding and active work to post-completion claims.

Since 2014, Marvin has taught Legal Issues in Construction at the University of Oklahoma College of Architecture, bringing real-world expertise into the classroom. He also serves on the Legislative Committee of the Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma, contributing to policy discussions that shape the industry.

In 2017, Marvin founded Oklahoma’s only alternative dispute resolution firm dedicated exclusively to construction mediation and arbitration. He is listed on the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Mediators and Arbitrators, Construction Panel, and has been an active member of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry since 2000.
