Whether you are interested in trigonometry or trivia nights, there is an LGBTQ+ community group for you. Below are the current students groups at OU that focus on community building amongst LGBTQ+ individuals. If you still cannot find what you are looking for, you can always start your own organization! Campus Wide


LGBTQ+ Program Advisory Board is the programming branch of the Gender = Equality Center's LGBTQ+ Programs. From drag shows to Pride, from guest speakers to social media campaigns, the PAB focuses on large-scale, campus wide community events. To learn more, click here.


LGBTQ Student Alliance is a group undergrad and graduate students that work to build community amongst LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. With weekly meetings and ongoing community events, there is always ways to get connected. To learn more, click here.

Special Interest

Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (OSTEM) is a group of students dedicated to building community within fields of studies that have historically not been the most friendly to LGBTQ+ identities. By connecting students to developmental opportunities and like-minded folks, OSTEM aims to help LGBTQ+ individuals thrive at OU. To learn more, click here.


Queer Journalist is the local branch of the Association for LGBTQ Journalists and the newest addition to our campus organization family. Looking to empower LGBTQ+ individuals with journalism and related fields, they are excited to get started this upcoming semester.

Graduate Organizations


OutSpace is designed to build community amongst graduate degree seeking individuals or non-traditional students. Working with other graduate organizations, they are connecting folks to more and more opportunities. To learn more, click here.

OU Health Sciences Center


Lumina works to foster connections amongst LGBTQ+ individuals on our OU HSC campus. Not only do they work to help individuals thrive while they pursue their various degrees, but they are also championing LGBTQ+ material to be included in coursework and campus initiatives.
