Gaylord News, Institute for the Study of Human Flourishing Launch Student-Led Podcast
Gaylord News of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication is collaborating with the Institute for the Study of Human Flourishing to host a podcast series that began in October: “To Survive and Thrive: Oklahomans Reflect on COVID-19 and Racism.” A team of Gaylord students, which includes KaraLee Langford, Brooklyn Wayland, Miranda Vondale Foster, Jessie C. Smith and Zhixuan Fan, is interviewing Oklahomans from various walks of life for 24 weekly podcasts to get their perspectives on the present hardships we face and how the spirit of Oklahoma -- based on our collective memory, shared present, and imagined future -- can inform us as together we move forward in these troubled times.
