Irving Middle Schoolers to Visit OU

On Friday, December 4th The University of Oklahoma will welcome the 8th graders at Irving Middle School (whose mascot is the cougar) to visit the campus, tour various buildings and residence halls, and learn what they can do to prepare themselves for a journey to higher education.

The goal of this visit is to bring students from the most economically disadvantaged middle school in Norman to the OU community, to inspire them about education and to show them that a college degree is an attainable dream that every student can have.

This event is being organized by Breea Clark, J.D., Associate Director of Academic Integrity Programs, and co-sponsored by the Institute for the Study of Human Flourishing.
